At the ceremonial session held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Faculty of International Relations at the Bratislava University of Economics and Business, on 12 December 2025, special recognition was awarded to distinguished professors and associates who, through their many years of scientific, teaching, and international engagement, made a significant contribution to the development of the Faculty.

On this occasion, a commemorative medal was presented to 

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Sc. DDr.h.c. Irena Zavrl, PhD 

as recognition of her outstanding contribution to the development and international recognition of the 

Faculty of International Relations at the Bratislava University of Economics and Business.

Her dedicated work, expertise, and continuous commitment in the field of international relations and academic cooperation have left a lasting mark on the development of the institution and on strengthening its reputation within the European and international academic community.
